Alligator spotted sunning near Charles River in Dedham (via WCVB)
A local canoeist got a big surprise when he spotted one sunning himself on a log Thursday. He took a photograph of the reptile as he paddled down the river in Dedham. State wildlife officers were called in to try and capture the ‘gator. They got close, but couldn’t catch him. They said they would try to look for the alligator again on Friday.
